“I was you.”
I starved myself and watched the scale barely move. I counted every bite, lived light-headed and hungry, and believed that willpower was the answer. Until my body told me otherwise.


When I was pregnant with my second child, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I felt like a failure — I’d always eaten “healthy,” followed every rule, done everything right.
But as I began testing my blood sugar, I saw the truth: the very foods I thought were good for me …the whole-wheat rolls, fiber cereals, skim milk, were spiking my blood sugar just like sugar itself.
Everything I’d learned about nutrition flipped upside down. I realized the problem wasn’t me. It was the outdated rules I’d been following.
So I did the opposite of what every diet had taught me. I started fueling my body with the right foods instead of fighting it. And something incredible happened:
- The fatigue disappeared.
- My cravings quieted.
- I felt full and satisfied, without obsessing over my next meal.
- Food stopped controlling my thoughts.
After that pregnancy, I gained less weight than ever before, and it came off easily.


That experience changed everything.
I dove deep into the science of metabolism, blood-sugar balance, and sustainable weight loss. I became a certified health coach, determined to help other women find the same freedom I’d discovered.
Today, I guide women who’ve spent years dieting, restricting, and blaming themselves. Through health coaching I help them lose weight by working with their bodies, not against them.
Along the way, I realized most people don’t struggle with knowledge.
